The English Setter is a breed of dog bred in England to hunt birds. They have a long and slender body, long legs and tail, and a long and soft coat that protects them from cold and rain.

The founder of the breed is considered to be Edward Laverack, who invested a lot of effort and money in the creation and development of the setter population. Due to his passion for this breed, it was first presented at an exhibition in 1859. Then another breeder named Richard Purcell Llewellyn tried to create an ideal breed based on Laverack's work. Most of the setters are currently a continuation of his work.
These dogs are very energetic and active, they love to run and play. They are also highly intelligent and easy to train, making them great companions for people who enjoy an active lifestyle.
The English Setter has a calm and friendly nature, he gets along well with other animals and children. However, due to their activity and energy, they can be a little noisy and require a lot of attention and exercise.
All in all, the English Setter is a great dog for those who love an active lifestyle and want to have a loyal friend by their side.
