The Beagle is a colorful dog that combines excellent hunting instincts and pure friendliness. Already in the first years of the breed's existence, he was an ideal companion, since he walked next to people and was not embarrassed by their presence. The Beagle embodies inexhaustible optimism and energy that needs to be dissipated in active games and walks. A dog's happiness is not limited if it goes with its pets to parks where many people relax. Beagles love attention and do better with lots of people (both people and dogs).
For hunting lovers, you won't find a better pet! Beagles are distinguished by their endurance; they can stay outdoors for more than an hour and still feel like a fish in water. You'll spend the day on exciting adventures, chasing your prey while keeping your dog's watchful eye in sight. Does the thought of hunting make you curl up in a ball? The need for proper beagle training will not go away. In particular, you should set aside time for regular outdoor excursions so that your dog can run freely off-leash on busy roads.

Beagles are very sensitive to new smells. Keep an eye on them while walking, otherwise they may follow an intriguing scent and get lost. If you live in a private house, always check the integrity of the fence. Dogs can slip through seemingly small gaps.

The worst punishment for a beagle is to spend the whole day alone in an apartment of several square meters. Trying to have fun, the dog will resort to extreme measures - destruction of its habitat. When you return home, be prepared to find torn wallpaper, chewed furniture and chewed slippers. The little mischief makers don't stop there. If you work a lot and don't want to witness the apocalypse, get a second dog who can become an active playmate for your Beagle.

Representatives of this breed do not get along well with cats, so they should refrain from small animals - decorative rats, hamsters, parrots - and small animals in general. You never know when a dog's hunting instincts will kick in. If you already have little friends living in your home, avoid interacting with beagles if possible.

Beagles are friendly with children and enjoy playing together, be it running for a frisbee or tug of war. The Beagle is a great friend and will never bark at an unintentional poke or tail tug. This dog obeys its little owner and protects him from the impending threat.

Opinions vary about the safety of the Beagle. Some say they are sensitive to the slightest noise or unfamiliar smell, and their loud bark alerts their owners to a threat. Other beagle owners speak out more definitely, since they have more than once observed situations when the dog only likes to bark and hide behind the owner’s legs. However, this may be enough if the attacker does not know about the characteristics of the breed and is ready to give up his will so as not to collide with the “brave defender”.

The Beagle subtly senses the situation and smoothes out its roughness with mischief. This dog attracts attention, eliminates conflicts and makes people forget about the causes of the conflict.
