The domestic caracal (cat with black ears) is a breed of beautiful graceful cats that can develop tremendous speed. In ancient times they were used for hunting. Caracals were called cheetahs for the poor.
Caracals have thick fur. The shade of wool varies depending on the mainland: in southern Africa it is red-brown, in Asia it is sandy. Their ears are large and pointed with tassels, while their eyes are large and round. They are very active and playful, love to run and jump. Domestic caracals are very smart and easy to train, they can perform various commands and tricks.
