The Boxer is a large dog breed that is known for its strength, endurance and loyalty. They were developed in Germany in the 19th century and were used for ring fighting.
Today, boxers are excellent companions and guard dogs, and also participate in various sporting competitions.
Representatives of the breed are smart and balanced, so they are sometimes used as guide dogs. Boxers are very active by nature and love to be outdoors, taking long walks and frolicking in the fresh air. Despite being sociable and friendly towards their owners and family members, they are wary and wary of strangers.
At the age of 18 months, the German Boxer is already an adult dog and fully developed physically. However, their inner world at the age of 18 months still remains “childish”. Therefore, when trying to train during a period of emotional immaturity, the dog does not respond to commands, and the owner even begins to think that he is communicating with a deaf person. However, at some point in the training, a turning point occurs, and your pet suddenly begins to understand everything that you previously unsuccessfully tried to teach him.

The Boxer is a sociable dog that easily gets along with other four-legged inhabitants of the house, but sometimes it gets possessed by a cheeky disposition and begins to chase cats in the garden. This breed tends to get into fights with other dogs and often provokes them. By their nature, boxers are real fighters, dexterous, brave and strong. With proper training, they can become excellent guard dogs. The unique, childlike and spontaneous character of a boxer remains unchanged throughout his life. The dog shows enviable stubbornness, but its goals are never achieved by attack. His main weapon is humor and charm, which no loving owner can resist.

The breed has amazing sensitivity and is extremely intelligent and cunning. Therefore, a boxer must be trained to develop his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. Boxers see training as a game and are easily motivated, so with the right approach, amazing results can be achieved.
Cheerful, playful, curious, cheerful, energetic - these traits perfectly characterize the German boxer. In addition, these dogs are loyal and very strongly attached to their owners and their family members. Positive qualities remain with a boxer for life.

Boxers who have gone through a good training school will get along well in a small family. They will become not only good companions for children, but also reliable guardians.
