Doberman is a medium-sized dog with a strong, muscular body that harmoniously combines noble posture with clean, graceful lines. Its perfect anatomy makes it an ideal dog. It is impossible to hide flaws in the appearance of a Doberman, and they are all obvious. An ensemble of strength, enormous internal energy and external grace, even sophistication - this is the general first impression of the breed. Dobermans never ignore or offend the weak. When playing with children, they behave very carefully so as not to accidentally knock the baby down. Dobermans treat others (both people and other pets) with respect and reverence. However, such qualities of Dobermans in no way indicate timidity. On the contrary, Dobermans are extremely confident in themselves and do not try to show their superiority over anyone. They cannot be called selfish, harmful or stubborn. They are calm and always strive to be helpful.
The Doberman has a gentle character. Their behavior is calm and friendly, but when danger threatens, they react quickly like lightning.
The talent of a fighter and protector is genetically inherent in the Doberman. With proper training, this dog can become an ideal bodyguard or security guard.
The first Dobermans were not exact copies of modern executive breeds. They lacked grace and lightness, and were not friendly in nature. Subsequently, the breed was improved. After the death of the Doberman, Otto Geller continued his work.
Today, these elegant, intelligent and balanced dogs, with their amazing sense of smell and instincts, serve in the police and army, are considered excellent pets and excellent companion dogs.
