The Russo-European Laika is a dog breed that was created in Russia and Europe by crossing local dog breeds. It has a compact and muscular build, long coat and thick undercoat, making it very adaptable to cold climates. This breed is very energetic and active, loves to run and play outdoors. Russo-European Laikas also have a strong hunting instinct and can be used for hunting game or for guarding a territory. They are very loyal and friendly to their owners and make great family companions.
