The Belgian Griffon is a comfortable pet in every sense of the word. Playful but not annoying, emotional but easily controlled, these cheerful-eyed dogs are observant and perfectly understand when they need to cheer up their owner and when to calm down and go about their business. At the same time, people-orientation is considered one of the key advantages of the breed, which is especially valuable when the company of animals is necessary to brighten up everyday life, for example, for people with limited mobility or elderly owners.

  Griffons do not compete with domestic animals. Moreover, they don’t care with whom they share their living space - with rats, cats or arrogant shepherd dogs. These little pacifists are ready to do anything to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and quickly find their place in the hierarchical system of the animal kingdom. However, one should not confuse aversion to conflict with absolute cowardice. For their part, such “Belgians” react very evenly to provocations or injustice, so if your ward threatens some dogs on the street, little “Beardies” will not be afraid to respond to rudeness by barking.

  Belgian Griffons have a hard time with loneliness, so it is preferable for the animal to always live in a family where there will always be someone from the household. In addition, the breed has a remarkable memory for faces and behavior. The pet not only recognizes the comrades who appear in the house, but also builds individual lines of behavior for each. In the company of its environment, the Belgian Griffon becomes relaxed, trusting and friendly, coming up with all sorts of tricks and harmless pranks to attract attention. However, when a stranger first meets a member of this breed, he must take a test.

   If the two-legged “stranger” does not try to offend the animal or its owner, then at the sight of a stranger the griffon will have the slightest wariness, but gradually it will fade away. Belgian Griffons do not suffer from melancholy or depression, but willingly participate in play activities on a positive wave. At the same time, for entertainment, the bearded griffon needs constant communication, be it from the owner or from a four-legged creature that is ready to recognize the griffon as its equal.

  In general, Belgian Griffons are wonderful companions and working dogs that can become excellent family members and reliable assistants in any business.
